What's for breakfast?

I'm pretty much stuck in a food rut lately-especially with breakfast. I love scrambled eggs,poached eggs-you name it I LOVE EGGS! I will usually toast a whole wheat sandwich round and add a slice or two of turkey bacon or canadian bacon and top that with scrambled eggs and sometimes a slice of cheese (think McD's egg mcmuffin ala homemade). But lately no matter how I eat my sugar levels have been too high. Yesterday I remembered I had some cottage cheese that I had gotten to use in a recipe that never happened. I added one of those Dole fruit cups (in juice not syrup)---and it was pretty good. I added a sliced banana and a sprinkle of sunflower seeds to that same mix this morning and that was breakfast. And it's been about 1 1/2 hours late and I'm not STARVING like I usually am right after breakfast. I mean I am hungry ALL DAY LONG lately--I think it's the monthlies knocking on the door too-and all the girls know that doesn't help one bit! So I think I have found a new breakfast for me-at least for a little while. My son came in earlier and asked "Mom,what's the white stuff you're eating?" "Cottage cheese and fruit". "Oh,ok,well it stinks!" Thanks alot,son! LOL Sometimes you just gotta laugh!
